Sahraya was born from a simple but powerful mission: the Arab community in America deserves world-class entertainment that truly understands their culture. When Ahmed Saher started, he saw that Arabic families in New England were booking generic DJs who didn't know the difference between an Iraqi Maqam and a Lebanese Dabke — who couldn't pronounce the song names, let alone read the crowd the way these celebrations demand.
